Mr Nice Guy
Mr Nice Guy is a Thai restaurant located at Healeys Lane just a street away from Flagstaff Station. This friendly little restaurant serves some great flavoured rustic Thai dishes. With the open kitchen you can see, hear and smell the delicious fragrance when Chef Bong tossing food in the flaming wok! The decor of the restaurant is certainly modern with colourful tiled table top and the unique street art mural at the entrance.
Mr Nice Guy is a neighbourhood gem that I go regularly when I am craving for Thai food. The menu has a variety of meat and vegetable starter, salad, curry, grilled, stir-fry, rice and noodle dishes for sharing. Here are some of the dishes from previous visits.

Keaw wan gai - green curry, chicken thigh, bamboo shoot, green beans, carrot and kaffir lime leaf
Classic green curry chicken... the meat is so tender and the sauce is packed with flavours.

House-made roti breads with satay sauce
Can't resist these hot fluffy house-made roti breads... easily mopped up all the yummy satay sauce.

Massaman neua - massaman curry, wagyu beef, potato, carrot & peanut
The deep flavours of massaman curry is a beautiful match with the wagyu beef. Never bored of eating it.

Yum neur - grilled medium rare beef rump salad
Grilled beef salad with the spicy and sour dressing certainly stimulates your taste buds.

Mr Nice Guy chicken - oven grilled chicken, spicy cauliflower and leek
1st of the signature dish... the whole chicken is marinated with spices and coconut milk before grilling. The tender chicken goes nicely with the stir-fried spicy cauliflower and leek.

2nd of the signature dish... grilled Barramundi - spicy curry paste, green apple & fresh herb salad with nam jim
Grilled fresh fish with refreshing salad and the classic nam jim sauce of hot, sour and tangy dressing... delicious!

Crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli, chilli, garlic & oyster foam
3rd of the signature dish... this is seriously my favourite crispy pork belly in Melbourne. Succulent meat just melt in your mouth with the super crispy crackling. The stir-fried gai lan in oyster sauce and chilli is a nice dish by itself.

Pad thai chicken - stir-fired rice noodle, carrot, bean shoot, spring onion and onion
Cannot find any fault with this classic pad thai chicken... great flavours, texture and love the crushed peanuts to go on top.
My favourite dishes - Crispy pork belly and Massaman beef curry
Mr Nice Guy is a great place to catch up with family and friends. Solid good Thai food in the city with very affordable price so this place gets really busy both at lunch and dinner time with the locals. Hope you will enjoy the Thai feast there too!
